Welche Leash Länge ihr wählt, hängt von der Länge des Boards ab - als Faustregel gilt : Die Leash sollte maximal 6 Inch länger oder kürzer angegeben sein, als das Board lang ist:

6 Fuss Leash = 5.4 bis 6.6 Fuss Boardlänge, weil 6.0 minus 0.6 = 5.4 und 6.0 plus 0.6 = 6.6
7 Fuss Leash = 6.4 bis 7.6 Fuss Boardlänge
8 Fuss Leash = 7.4 bis 8.6 Fuss Boardlänge
9 Fuss Leash = 8.4 bis 9.6 Fuss Boardlänge
10 Fuss Leash = 9.4 bis 10.6 Fuss Boardlänge
11 Fuss Leash = 10.4 bis 11.6 Fuss Boardlänge
